This is a nice balance as it is realistic but not noisy. It was time consuming to assemble and like the other reviewers, I missed the fact that the screws were labeled in their box (it's imprinted into clear plastic and not a sticker) until halfway through. I did this with my husband and it still took 2 hours. You will need a shorter than normal phillips head screwdriver for some parts. We had no missing pieces or broken pieces. My son is 2 1/2 and is thrilled with it."
